Program 3: Containment focuses on safe and controlled physical intervention techniques for situations where an individual is actively trying to harm themselves or others, and no less restrictive alternative is available. This course builds upon Program 1: Assisting Process and Program 2: Protection of Self & Others, ensuring that participants can apply de-escalation techniques before resorting to containment. What You’ll Learn: ✔ How to assess when containment is necessary and apply it as a last resort ✔ Safe and controlled physical holds to protect individuals in crisis ✔ Techniques that avoid pressure points, joint locks, or excessive force ✔ Using body mechanics instead of physical strength to maintain safety ✔ Maintaining dignity and minimizing harm while ensuring safety for all parties This program is essential for professionals in mental health, healthcare, education, and social services who may face situations where immediate physical intervention is required. Participants will learn how to safely contain individuals while following ethical and legal best practices. ⚠ Prerequisite: Must complete Program 1: Assisting Process and Program 2: Protection of Self & Others before taking this course.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Cancellation Policy Once registration has been processed, refunds will not be issued. If a class is canceled, the full paid registration may be applied to another class within 60 days of the original class date. See the Rescheduling Policy below for applicable fees. Same-day cancellations will not be honored. Rhythm Savers CPR reserves the right to cancel classes without refunds in cases of natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. If such situations occur, students will be allowed to reschedule without penalty or retain class credit without expiration. To request a reschedule, you must notify us via both email and phone: 📧 rscpr911@gmail.com 📞 (936)-676-6446 (leave a voicemail) Rescheduling Policy Rescheduled classes must occur within 60 days of the original class date. Rescheduling with at least 3 days’ notice (during business hours: 9 AM – 6 PM CST): No rescheduling fee will be applied. Rescheduling 1-2 days before the class date (during business hours: 9 AM – 6 PM CST): A $30 fee applies for BLS and Heartsaver courses. A $50 fee applies for ACLS, PALS, and other advanced courses. Same-day rescheduling requests will be considered a No-Show (see No-Show Policy below). Rescheduling is only allowed once. If a student fails to attend the rescheduled class, no refunds, credits, or further rescheduling will be permitted. No-Show Policy A student is considered a No-Show if they fail to attend class without providing at least one day's notice. No refunds, credits, or rescheduling options will be granted for No-Show, no-call, or tardiness. If a student reschedules an ACLS or PALS course, and their eCard expires before the rescheduled class, a $45 expired eCard fee per discipline will be charged on the day of class. Reschedule and expired eCard fees must be paid on the day of class. Exceptions for extenuating circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any refunds or credits granted are solely at the discretion of Rhythm Savers CPR.
